The Texas Heart Institute hosts students each summer to help them learn and better understand scientific research and medicine. Students are matched with faculty members in our research laboratories to work on a project. These projects help students develop a deeper understanding of medical research and medicine, and many students continue their partnership with the institution beyond their summer internships.
